Yelp lists Broken Arrow among best in customer service
TULSA, Okla. — Broken Arrow is among the U.S. cities that Yelp finds are the most customer-friendly both online and in person. Yelp, which publishes crowd-sourced reviews of local businesses, released the list Tuesday, The Tulsa World reports
Most of the places on the list such as Broken Arrow, Naperville, Illinois, and Overland Park, Kansas, are suburban cities.
“What it boils down to is there are pockets of tech-savvy businesses in these suburbs,” said Darnell Holloway, director of business outreach for Yelp.
Holloway said the company compiled the list by using its “treasure trove” of data. Cities were measured by how the businesses in them treated customer service and utilized the online rating service itself.
Wes Smithwick, president and CEO of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce, said, “I’m always happy to land on a list with a lot of these type cities.”
