Dollar Tree planning July 21 opening, hiring 19 in Grafton

GRAFTON, Wis. — Officials with a dollar store planned for Grafton say they hope to open by July 21.

The Dollar Tree will move into the vacant storefront at 1777 Wisconsin Ave., immediately south of Shopko. The space is about 9,000 square feet, according to Shelley Davis, a representative from Dollar Tree’s corporate headquarters in Chesapeake, Va. “We are really excited about coming to Grafton,” Davis said.

The store will employ two full-time managerial employees, as well as 15 to 17 permanent part-time employee positions. Everything in a Dollar Tree store is $1 or less. Some items, like greeting cards, are two for $1. Check here for Dollar Tree jobs.

The store set to open next month in Grafton will be Dollar Tree’s first Ozaukee County location.
